Idus manages personal settings with permissions to every main function, tab and field. This means that the system only will display the fields that each person or group is meant to work with. In practice this means that the staff member must enter the right field in order to move on. These functions will apply to every function in the system.
During the startup week, we will decide together which functions a user group will be able to access. Then you can always check or uncheck modules by yourself. Below you will find some examples on how the user groups usually looks like.
Fault reporter
Machine operators and operational staff can click their way down the process to make fault reports. The form can contain mandatory fields and pre-configured titles like vibrations, leakage electrical faults etc. which makes fault reporting easier for less frequent users.
Maintenance personnel
The user group maintenance personnel is usually configured to receive fault reports, work orders, debriefing worked hours and consumed material and also reporting back necessary information. Access is also given to activity lists, calendars, and round lists.
Supervisor
Supervisors usually have the same properties as the maintenance staff but in addition they can plan and schedule work, order material, making withdrawals etc. Another important function in the supervising interface is the report modules which form the basis for every follow up and improvement measure.
Storage personnel
The storage personal usually handles the creation of new articles, configuring the storage, in deliveries, stocking, preparation of material and withdrawing spare parts and material.
Administrator
The administrating role is to configure user groups, object types, article types and job titles. The administrator can generate usernames and passwords without having to contact Idus.
